Supporting schools to address pornography's influence

Schools are increasingly aware of the need to address pornography’s influence as part of equipping young people with the skills they need to develop healthy, respectful relationships and sexuality in the 21st Century. The most effective approach to addressing porn’s influence – or any of the many other issues affecting students’ wellbeing – involves collaboration between schools, parents and the broader community. It's time we talked has developed resources to support your school in this work.

Staff professional learning

It’s time we talked has the resources and expertise required to support your school to address pornography’s influence. These include options for online training, licensing an online presentation or in-person professional learning at your school.

Supporting parent engagement

By engaging and educating parents, schools can assist parents to feel equipped to talk with their children about issues such as respect, consent and pornography. Learn more about how your school can support parent engagement.

Documentary films

We have produced two broadcast documentary films featuring compelling interviews with young people and participants from the international porn industry. Some schools use these films for parent or senior student education. Note that these films are both rated MA15+ and are not suitable for use with young students.

Young people, autism and the impact of porn - Professional learning

This professional learning, delivered by autism expert Dr Wenn Lawson and pornography expert Maree Crabbe, is designed to support teachers and other professionals who work with autistic young people.
