Staff professional learning

Professional learning for staff is critical in any effort to address this challenging issue with young people. It's time we talked offers a variety of options for staff professional learning:

Online course

This self-paced online course has been developed for professionals who work with young people across a wide range of sectors. The course aims to support you to understand pornography’s prevalence and nature, how it is contributing to young people’s sexual socialisation, and what you can do to support young people to safely navigate pornography’s influence. 

Whole staff professional learning

Our whole staff professional learning is a concise professional learning presentation to build awareness and understanding among all the staff at your school or community organisation. It involves:
  • a 1 hour presentation (it may be shorter or longer as required)
  • a Q&A session. 
This presentation is suitable for all staff, including those in technology-related roles. A pre-recorded presentation is available for purchase. Alternatively, get in touch below to enquire about live online, or in-person delivery.

Key staff professional learning

Our full day professional learning is currently delivered in person. It  utilises a combination of presentations, videos, small and large group discussions and activities to provide staff with: 

  • a strong understanding of pornography’s prevalence, nature and impact on young people 

  • frameworks and strategies for addressing pornography’s influence with young people. 

It is suitable for up to 60 participants for in-person delivery. You may wish to consider inviting staff from other schools and/or organisations in your region. Alternatively get in touch to enquire about in-person delivery below.

In addition to the option of purchasing a pre-recorded presentation, whole staff professional learning can be delivered live online or in-person in your community.
